Big Heartbreak for Fans as Rain Washes Out India vs England 1st T20 After Abhishek's Crazy Record

What a massive disappointment yesterday! Cricket fans were so excited to watch the first T20 match between India and England at Chester-le-Street. But guess what? The British weather completely ruined the day. We got to see some incredible batting from Team India in the first half, but then the skies opened up. It just kept raining and raining. In the end, the umpires had to call the match off, and it ended with a sad "No Result."
Let's talk about the game. India won the toss and decided to bat first, but the start was scary. Sanju Samson opened the batting but got out for just 1 run after facing 7 balls. He tried a big shot but gave an easy catch off Saqib Mahmood's bowling. Then, disaster struck immediately. Ishan Kishan got run out for a duck on his very first ball, thanks to an amazing throw by Harry Brook. India was down to 6 for 2 in no time, and fans were shivering, thinking about a low total.
That is when Abhishek Sharma took charge and went completely wild! He did not care about the wickets and started hitting the English bowlers all over the park. The young guy smashed a mind-blowing 59 runs from only 24 balls. He hit 6 boundaries and 4 huge sixes.
With this knock, Abhishek created an unbelievable world record. He is now the fastest player ever to hit 100 T20 International sixes based on balls faced. It took him only 785 balls! He easily beat West Indies legend Evin Lewis, who did it in 789 balls, and New Zealand’s Finn Allen, who took 871 balls. Even Suryakumar Yadav took 1007 balls for this. Sam Curran finally got him out LBW, but Abhishek had already done his job.
After that, skipper Shreyas Iyer anchored the innings perfectly. He played a very smart captain's knock to stabilize the team. He made a crucial 82-run partnership with Abhishek, saving India from a collapse. Shreyas scored 68 runs off 47 balls with 6 fours and a six. This was his first fifty as India's T20 skipper.
Towards the end, Shivam Dube gave a grand finish. He scored a quick 42 not out off just 21 balls, hitting huge sixes in the death overs. His hitting pushed India’s score to a big 189 for 7. For England, Saqib Mahmood bowled well and took 3 wickets for 33 runs.
But right after India's innings ended, the rain started pouring like crazy. Big puddles formed on the grass, and the ground was swimming in water. The England openers could not even step out onto the field. Everyone waited for hours, but the rain won.
So, the series stays at 0-0 for now. Let us just pray the next match gets clear weather so we can see a full T20 match
